For our client in 4450 Sissach BL, we are immediately seeking a foundry employee (100%, temporary)
Job DescriptionWork at the foundry plant
- Operate the plant, prepare moulds, monitor the moulding system, support production processes and prepare workpieces according to instructions.
- When handling hot cast parts, operational safety measures are particularly important.
Cast finishing
- Sort cast parts and, if assigned to the area of deployment, remove gates, deburr edges or prepare parts for further processing.
Quality control and occupational safety
- Visually inspect parts, report rejects and comply with applicable safety regulations.
Desired Profile
- Experience in foundry work, metal processing or industrial production is essential
- Mandatory willingness to work 2 shifts with weekly rotation:
Early shift: 05:00-13:40
Late shift: 13:40-22:15 - Own car and driving licence category B for reliable access to the workplace
- Physical resilience for demanding tasks in a foundry environment with heat and noise
- Reliable, independent and careful working style
- Good German skills to understand work and safety instructions
- Safety- and quality-conscious working
- Good comprehension and willingness to learn
- Team player
