What you will do here
- Collaborate in research projects in the field of Care in Frail Age, including topics such as promoting and maintaining the quality of life of frail older people in various settings, communication and interaction with people with dementia, integrated care and care networks
- Plan, acquire, conduct, lead and evaluate initial research and development projects
- Participate in teaching in the Bachelor's degree programme (including conducting courses and supervising student theses and internships)
- Design, plan, conduct and evaluate modules in continuing education
- Write initial scientific and professional publications
- Participate with own contributions at conferences, congresses and events
- Take on further substantive and organisational tasks at the Institute of Ageing
What you ideally bring with you
- Master's degree in Social Work (obtained or imminent)
- Several years of practical experience in social work (ideally experience in practical work with people in frail age)
- Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
- Experience in project work
- Initial experience in university teaching or willingness to acquire it, including appropriate further training in higher education didactics
- Willingness to develop a profile in university teaching and research and actively shape your own development; interest in a doctorate is desirable
- Very good German and English skills, French skills an advantage
