We are looking for a Test Engineer (m/f/d) for electronics manufacturing to complement our team and actively drive the further development of our test systems as well as the digitalisation of our electronics manufacturing. In this role, you will make an important contribution to the quality and reliability of our products and help shape the future of our manufacturing processes.
What is the role about?
Would you like to help shape the test strategy of a modern electronics manufacturing? Are you keen to automate and continuously improve complex testing processes? Would you like to work closely with development, production, and engineering to realise innovative solutions?
In this role, you combine technical expertise with an innovative spirit and contribute to ensuring that our electronic assemblies are reliably tested and efficiently manufactured. The position is based in electronics manufacturing and works closely with research & development, industrial engineering, and project management.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- create, validate, optimise, and document complex optical, mechanical, and electronic test programmes for electronic assemblies
- programme and maintain industrial software solutions and other operating resources for electronics manufacturing
- co-develop the future test strategy and the digitalisation of electronics manufacturing, and evaluate new technologies and test methods
- work closely with research & development, industrial engineering, electronics manufacturing, and project management to implement efficient test solutions
- coordinate and provide technical support to manufacturers of test systems in the further development and stabilisation of systems
- ensure 3rd-level support for test systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes
What do we expect from you?
You:
- have a technical vocational training as well as a completed degree (university/technical college) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or a comparable field
- ideally bring professional and project experience in an industrial production environment
- are characterised by a high quality awareness, a structured way of working, and very good German and English skills
- possess sound knowledge in programming and automation of systems and equipment, ideally with NI TestStand and Vision Builder
- are familiar with Windows software development using .NET and C# and are confident in a DevOps environment
- preferably have knowledge in electronic circuit and measurement technology as well as experience with databases, computer networks, or programming in the NI environment
