Your tasks

• Cleaning, packing and securing archaeological finds for long-term storage, transport and relocations as well as ensuring the proper handling of the objects
• Monitoring climate and light conditions, IPM in exhibition rooms and depots and implementing preventive conservation measures
• Care and preparation of loans and ensuring compliance with loan conditions
• Support in preparations and in the assembly and disassembly of special exhibitions
• Documentation of conservation and restoration measures with IMDAS.pro as well as carrying out minor conservation work

Your profile

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in conservation and restoration, preferably with experience in handling archaeological objects
• Good knowledge of preventive conservation as well as proper handling, cleaning and packing of cultural assets
• Experience in packing, storage and preparation of objects for transport
• Knowledge in the area of loan traffic and exhibition support as well as a strong awareness of the requirements for proper object handling
• Careful and reliable working method as well as a high sense of responsibility in dealing with archaeological cultural assets
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working method
• Good IT user skills; experience with IMDAS.pro is an advantage
