What you bring with you
- You have completed training as a customer service assistant in public transport.
- You have a strong service orientation and enjoy working with people. You approach different people openly, listen attentively and find suitable solutions even in demanding or hectic situations.
- You have high teamwork skills, initiative and a sense of responsibility. You actively contribute to the team and keep an overview even under time pressure.
- You have a quick grasp and sound judgement. You recognise situations quickly, communicate clearly and accompany our customers professionally and confidently even in challenging moments.
- You have very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as Italian and/or English skills at level A2, or the willingness to learn them.
What we offer
SOB maintains a function-based salary system that ensures internal pay equity and fairness.
With an employment level of at least 40%, you travel free of charge on public transport in 2nd class. Your relatives benefit from discounts when purchasing a GA. Not only that: after the first year of employment, we offer an attractive deal with the FIP (international discount card for railway staff) in Europe with discounts abroad.
At SOB, you work 41 hours per week with a 100% workload. You receive at least five weeks of holiday per year. With the bandwidth model, you can take additional days off.
Would you like more than five weeks of holiday? We offer the possibility of the bandwidth model. For 2% of your annual salary, you receive five additional days off credited, for 4% ten additional days off credited. The same applies in reverse: you can waive days off and receive more salary instead.
Do public holidays fall on a weekend? At SOB, these days are credited to you.
You work along the most beautiful routes in Switzerland. On our long-distance lines, but also in regional passenger transport, there is a breathtaking view with diverse landscapes.
