As Lead Psychiatrist at Medgate, you will take on the development and professional responsibility for the entire psychiatric area. Thanks to the latest digital solutions and the use of AI applications, you have new possibilities in interacting with patients and ensuring low-threshold access. What we can offer you

• Participation in the development of the entire psychiatric consultation service at Medgate, including the creation of guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Development and professional leadership of the team of psychiatrists, including ensuring professional quality
• Further development of the treatment offerings
• Further development of our AI-supported tools for doctors as well as the introduction of new digital treatment approaches such as blended therapy
• Psychiatric diagnostics, indication, and treatment of patients insured in Switzerland via video (billing through health insurance), including prescription and monitoring of medication treatments (psychopharmacotherapy)
• Referral to a suitable provider for any further treatment and documentation in the company’s patient management system
• Close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team (including psychotherapists, general practitioners)

Your profile

• Completed medical studies and FMH specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy; licence for independent practice (BAB) in Switzerland; at least 3 years of work experience in Switzerland
• Several years of solid clinical experience in psychiatry as well as experience in building and leading teams
• Very good German skills, additional foreign languages advantageous (especially French)
• Strong affinity for AI applications and digital health solutions and their use in treatment and support of doctors
• Motivation to newly develop the psychiatric area in telemedicine and interest in new ways of treating patients
• Communicative, service-oriented, and entrepreneurial personality with enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration, high flexibility, and resilience
