Holzbau Schweiz Section Aargau based in Aarau stands for a strong and future-proof timber construction industry. We create real added value for our members through professional services and are committed to strengthening the reputation of the timber sector as well as positive political and economic framework conditions. A special focus is on high-quality vocational training in timber construction. For the inter-company courses and adult education, the association operates a modern training centre in Oberentfelden.

Managing Director (70-100 %)

Your tasks

• Operational, personnel and financial management of the association and training centre including budget and annual accounts
• Preparation, organisation and implementation of the resolutions of the board and education commission as well as organisation of meetings
• Organisation and coordination of the EFZ/EBA qualification procedure
• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ÜK centre
• Management of projects, digitalisation and further development of services
• Organisation of industry and image campaigns, especially in promoting young talent
• Representation of the association towards members, authorities and national associations

Your profile

• Completed basic training in a craft, commercial or technical profession and several years of professional experience in a similar position
• Recognised management and leadership training (HF, higher vocational or specialist examination or equivalent)
• Organisational talent, initiative and convincing communication skills, also in front of meetings
• Very good German and IT skills
• Enjoyment of teamwork as well as interest in association activities and political processes
• Trustworthy, loyal and discreet
