The WRS Widmer Rail Services AG is a significant internationally active company in rail freight transport, specializing in cross-border transport of mineral oil products for corporations. For this purpose, WRS uses its own extensive fleet of locomotives and its own shunting capacities. Employee in Dispatch Rümlang/Glattbrugg In this role, you will work at the heart of our company, the control center, from which we efficiently and effectively manage our trains. You will take on the following tasks:
- Coordination of orders with central planning
- Dispatch of individual orders (control of order data, ordering of routes, allocation of
- Creating time- and distance-optimized service plans for locomotive drivers, shunters, and visitors
- Quick and pragmatic problem-solving in case of operational disruptions and personnel shortages
- Orientation and support for locomotive drivers with questions and problems so that we can meet our high performance promise to our customers. You bring:
- Proven experience as a dispatcher in the freight railway sector, locomotive driver, or shunter
- Decisiveness and resilience in stressful situations
- Strong organizational talent and affinity for IT programs
- Business management thinking
- High sense of responsibility
- Very good German skills (French and/or Italian is an advantage)
- Good knowledge in the application of logistics/ERP programs
- Willingness to work early, late, and night shifts in weekly rotation We offer:
