Our client is an established and successful SME with nearly 50 employees, based and producing in Central Switzerland. The company is a classic supplier for metalworkers or plant engineers, specialising in the manufacture of sheet metal components. Following a succession arrangement, we are looking for a Managing Director with the appropriate technical know-how and industry knowledge.
Your future function and role
As Managing Director, you will assume overall operational responsibility for the company and lead it with a high degree of independence and entrepreneurial scope for action.
- Overall responsibility for the company including P&L responsibility
- Leadership and further development of the organisation and employees
- Responsibility for sales, customer care and strategic business development
- Calculation and support of larger customer projects
- Ensuring efficient processes and high quality
Our expectations
For this demanding role, we are looking for a personality with technical understanding, leadership experience and a pronounced entrepreneurial spirit.
- You have a technical basic education, e.g. in plant or metal construction
- You have completed further training as a technician HF, technician in business processes HF or equivalent
- You also have the necessary business management knowledge
- You have several years of leadership experience as well as industry knowledge in the secondary construction sector (metal construction)
- You are reliable, loyal and absolutely committed
- You have perfect German language skills and corresponding IT skills (Office / ERP)
