About the job
The Resident Registration Office, within the Department of Security and Environment, is the first point of contact at the city administration. Our clients are advised competently and courteously. In our varied and lively operation, we are looking to complement our team with a Clerk from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement.Your Tasks
- Advising customers by telephone and at the counter
- Maintaining the resident register and clarifying registration matters including correspondence and data cleansing tasks
- Preparing extracts and confirmations from the resident register as well as identity card applications
- Receiving, checking and preparing applications related to the foreign nationals’ residence regulations on behalf of the Migration Office
- Tasks in the areas of voting and dog registers as well as compulsory health insurance
Your Profile
- Commercial basic training (mandatory)
- Experience in public administration, ideally in the resident registration office, is an advantage
- Open-minded, team-oriented, resilient and flexible personality
- Efficient, independent and responsible working style
- Confident German, spoken English skills as well as good MS Office application knowledge, additional foreign languages are an advantage
- Experience with the specialist application InnosolvCity is an advantage
