Office for Culture | Cantonal Library | 30% | Chur
The Cantonal Library of Graubünden belongs to the Office for Culture and is the largest library in the canton. It is the central collection point for Raetica. These are all media produced in or related to Graubünden. The Cantonal Library supports education, science, and culture and provides media in the three cantonal languages. In addition to media from many specialist fields, it also offers classics from literature, film, and music. As an advisory center for publicly accessible libraries in the canton, the Cantonal Library promotes the development and coordination of the Graubünden library system.
We are looking for an employee for the Catalog Department in the Cantonal Library (Office for Culture) starting July 1, 2026 or by agreement.
- Formal and subject cataloging of newly acquired media
- Processing of legacy collections
- Recording of order catalog records
- Completed training as an information and documentation specialist (EFZ) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in cataloging according to the RDA rules
- Experience with the Alma library system
- Good command of German, basic knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is an advantage
- Independent and organized working style, commitment and concentration, ability to work in a team
