Your Tasks

Overall responsibility for the City Library including infrastructure

Positioning and further development of the offers and services in the City Library – in consultation with your team leaders

Participation in the executive management of the Winterthur libraries and implementation of the library strategy and its goals

Specialist responsibility for the topic of inclusion at the Winterthur libraries

Leadership of internal and external committees on overarching strategic topics of the Winterthur libraries

Your Profile

Completed (technical) university education, specialising in information science or equivalent training

Several years of professional experience in a library or a comparable institution with public contact and experience in personnel management

Proven management skills and enjoyment of analytical thinking

Communicative personality with intellectual curiosity, strong service orientation and perseverance

Motivating and committed leadership style – willingness to participate and delegate
