- Production of dishes in the hot and cold kitchen, as well as desserts
- Possibly also for evening events such as school celebrations and aperitifs
- Assistance with plating at the menu station, setting up and dismantling the buffet
- Meal distribution during the lunch service, direct guest contact is included. Possibly assisting at the till.
- Active assistance in compiling varied menu plans and offer concepts
- Daily orders, stock management and inventory
- Administrative tasks as needed
- Leading the kitchen team
- Application and control of the cleaning and hygiene concept according to HACCP
- Various cleaning tasks and dishwashing duties are naturally included
As this is a large operation, it is essential that you have experience and can organise yourself accordingly to cook in large quantities.
We expect 200 guests at lunchtime.
Since this is a school operation, the position is associated with 13 weeks of holiday at the exact times of the school holidays.
5 weeks of these are paid and 8 weeks are UNPAID.
During this time, you are free to work in other establishments.
Desired Profile
- You have completed vocational training as a Cook EFZ
- At least 5 years of professional experience in communal catering and the catering sector
- Leadership experience in the same position or as a Sous Chef and administrative experience
- A driving licence is essential
- You communicate confidently in German and can interact professionally and confidently with both employees and guests.
- You naturally bring an independent, clean, and responsible working style.
