Sales Advisor in Pathology
Our clientOur client, Biosystems Switzerland AG, is the leading global supplier in Switzerland of laboratory equipment and consumables, with a particular focus on histology and immunopathology. As part of a succession, we are looking for reinforcement for the sales team in French-speaking Switzerland. The emphasis is on maintaining existing customer relationships and less on business development and acquiring new clients. As a player in a niche market, the company is known to all relevant stakeholders and benefits from an excellent network. This strong market position must be maintained in the future.
Workplace: Switzerland, field activity / Muttenz (headquarters)
Your responsibilities
- Ensure follow-up with clients, particularly specialised medical staff, in public and private laboratories in French-speaking Switzerland
- Analyse the current laboratory infrastructure and identify optimisation and improvement potentials (up-selling and cross-selling)
- Maintain long-term, sustainable customer relationships
- Support investment projects in the hospital environment through active stakeholder management, particularly with purchasing, hospital IT, and laboratories
- Manage projects during the implementation of customer orders, in collaboration with the internal service as well as the Applications and Service teams
- Participate in updating offers and developing services
- Maintain master data in the CRM and contribute to the development of sales materials
Your profile
- Training as a BMA (Biomedical Analysis Technician) or studies in biology
- Professional experience in selling laboratory equipment and consumables to clinics and private laboratories
- A passion for customer advice and product sales
- Analytical, structured and reliable working method, with good organisational and planning skills
- Communicative and dynamic personality, with a touch of humour, enjoying meeting new people and working within an interdisciplinary and innovative team
- Excellent command of German and French, both spoken and written
- Service-oriented, cooperative spirit and excellent ability to develop and maintain a professional network
