Head of Technical Service (m/f/d) 100%

• You will take overall responsibility for the technical service across our sites in Niederbipp, Romanshorn and Puidoux, ensuring the availability and further development of our technical equipment and infrastructure.

• You are responsible for the safe, compliant and economical operation of our intralogistics and building technology and continuously develop our maintenance strategy.

• You drive automation, investment and optimisation projects forward – from conception and business case to successful implementation.

• Together with Quality and other interfaces, you ensure the qualification, validation and GxP compliance of our quality-relevant technical systems.

• You manage your area based on relevant key figures, budgets and investment planning and create transparency regarding performance, costs and risks.

• You identify technical risks early and further develop emergency, redundancy and business continuity concepts for critical systems.

• You lead and develop your managers and technical teams and promote personal responsibility, collaboration and continuous improvement.

• As a sparring partner for management, you contribute your technical and entrepreneurial expertise and develop well-founded decision bases and recommendations for action.

• You have a higher technical education (HF, FH or university), for example in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, building or industrial engineering, facility management or a comparable qualification.

• You bring several years of leadership experience in a technical environment, ideally with cross-site responsibility and leading managers.

• You have solid experience in intralogistics and/or automation technology as well as good knowledge of building technology and maintenance.

• Experience in a regulated environment, ideally pharma, medical technology or food, as well as knowledge of GxP/GDP requirements, is a great advantage.

• You have experience in managing investment, automation or infrastructure projects and combine technical decisions with entrepreneurial thinking.

• You convince with a strategic-analytical mindset, implementation strength and pronounced leadership skills and keep an overview even in demanding situations.

• You communicate confidently in German (C2) and have good English skills (B2); French skills (B1) facilitate cross-site collaboration.
