Your Mission

With your leadership and security expertise, you ensure that St. Jakob-Park, our teams, and the company are optimally protected during matches, events, and daily operations. You coordinate operational security deployments, maintain oversight even in challenging situations, and ensure smooth processes together with internal and external partners. As part of the security team, you actively contribute to making employees, players, and guests feel safe in the red and blue environment at all times.

Your main tasks include:

• Operational management at away games as well as protection of the first team/other teams and the company at all internal & external events
• Liaison between the Head of Security and the deployed security staff during events at St. Jakob-Park
• Regularly reviewing and adjusting the security concept in consultation with superiors
• Checking personnel resources and planning all games & events
• Assessing potential risks and threats
• Maintaining contact with security departments of other football clubs
• Various administrative tasks (including preparing coordination reports for the SFL and UEFA)
• Close cooperation and participation in meetings with fan work, authorities, SFL, and UEFA
• Coordination with police, fire brigade, and other institutions in case of incidents

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training
• Federal specialist certificate in the security sector advantageous or at least equivalent qualification
• Training as safety officer in fire protection / safety officer KOPAS desirable
• Several years of experience in operational and planning security
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written; additional foreign languages advantageous
• Driving licence category B
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Strong planning, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• High resilience, sense of responsibility, and confident appearance
• Negotiation skills and high security awareness
• Clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract
