The Zurich Homeowners Association is a medium-sized company based in the city of Zurich, established since 1886. Around 90 employees are committed daily to providing a comprehensive range of services in the areas of property management, sales, valuation, construction management, and legal advice.

To strengthen our accounting team, we are looking for a dedicated individual to start immediately or by arrangement as

Property Accountant (80% - 100%)

What to expect

• Independent management of property accounting
• Preparation of interim and annual financial statements as well as off-cycle accounts
• Preparation of annual service charge statements
• VAT accounting
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
• Reminder and debt collection processes
• Accounting support for property managers
• Assistance with overarching tasks
• Depending on experience, additional tasks, for example in payroll administration or special topics

What you bring

You enjoy working independently, keep an overview even with multiple pending tasks, and also appreciate team interaction. Ideally, you bring the following:

• Commercial training or comparable qualification
• Experience in accounting, preferably in the property sector
• Enjoyment of numbers and a careful, reliable working style
• Good user knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with property or accounting software; knowledge of Garaio REM is a plus
• Very good German language skills
• An open, team-oriented and service-minded personality
