The Internal Services Department is seeking a Head of Facility Management (m/f/d) 80% from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement.
As a person who is convincing both personally and professionally, you will take on the leadership of facility management for the operational properties in Bern and Wabern, including the departments of building services and property maintenance, front desk, cafeteria, and cleaning services.

What you can achieve
- You and your team ensure the smooth daily operation of the office buildings and are responsible for a clean, safe, and proper operation of the properties
- You lead approximately 30 employees across four departments
- You identify and resolve challenges that arise in daily operations
- You coordinate external service providers and act as the contact person for all internal stakeholders
- You plan and oversee maintenance as well as minor renovations and organise logistics for space repurposing
What you bring with you
- You have several years of experience in facility management or comparable fields
- Your professional conduct is characterised by a pronounced hands-on mentality and solution orientation
- You are a well-grounded individual with high resilience
- Your qualities include assertiveness and decisiveness
- Pragmatism, organisational skills, and the ability to be close to your employees complete your profile
