Job Description
In this role, you will shape the employee experience end‑to‑end (hire‑to‑exit), strengthen leadership quality, and drive operational excellence—while contributing to the simplification and standardization enabled by SCOR’s HR Target Operating Model.
You’ll thrive if you enjoy turning complexity into pragmatic people solutions, building trusting relationships, and making an impact through your work—together with a collaborative HR team in a caring and open‑minded environment.
Responsibilities
Business partnering & leadership support
- Coach and challenge leaders on people decisions across the HR value chain (performance, development, workforce planning, compensation and organization design).
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and across cultures, translating business needs into pragmatic HR solutions.
Employee experience & employee relations
- Provide end‑to‑end HR support across the employee lifecycle (hire‑to‑exit), ensuring a consistent and high‑quality employee experience.
- Anticipate and manage sensitive employee relation topics with sound judgement, ensuring that HR policies and Swiss employment law are applied fairly and consistently.
Operational excellence, governance & compliance
- Support the successful execution of core HR processes and annual cycles (e.g., performance and compensation), contributing to transparency and high data quality.
- Ensure compliance with local labor law, internal governance and global HR policies; contribute to audits, HR controls and risk mitigation activities as needed.
Projects, change & continuous improvement
- Initiate, lead and contribute to HR projects and change initiatives that improve employee experience, simplify ways of working, and strengthen HR service delivery across Central Europe.
- Collaborate closely with HR colleagues (HR Operations, Talent, Reward, HRIS, etc.) to deliver seamless outcomes for the business.
- You may occasionally support ad‑hoc administrative tasks, with a focus on keeping processes efficient and employee‑centric.
Qualifications
Must have
- Proven experience in a generalist HR / HR Business Partner role, ideally in an international environment (insurance/financial services is a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of Swiss employment law and employee relations practices; ability to handle sensitive cases with integrity and sound judgement.
- Solid understanding of core HR processes (performance, compensation, talent development, learning, mobility, workforce planning).
- Confident communicator and facilitator, able to influence across different hierarchical levels and cultures.
- Fluent German and English.
Nice to have
- Experience partnering across multiple Central Europe countries and/or working with matrix structures.
- Experience with Oracle (or a similar HRIS) and confidence working with HR data and reporting to drive decisions.
- French or Italian is an advantage.
What makes you successful at SCOR
- You enjoy working in a caring and open‑minded environment, value diverse perspectives, and build trust through clarity and respect.
- You turn complexity into actionable solutions and bring a continuous improvement mindset to how HR serves the business.
- You take ownership, collaborate naturally, and help others succeed—because every voice matters and outcomes are stronger together.
