The Aebi Schmidt Group is looking for a Responsible Person for Prototype Construction / Validation for the Research & Development Aebi department at the CH-3401 Burgdorf location

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for planning, conducting, and documenting tests and validations according to the specifications – in close cooperation with development
• You take operational responsibility for the homologation of machines and vehicles

• Analysing results and measurement data in collaboration with project managers
• You are responsible for creating test documents for vehicle approval
• Coordinating tests with the technical service
• Creating and maintaining risk analyses
• Considering costs, deadlines, and quality within the scope of assigned tasks

Your background:

• You have a technical vocational training with additional completed further education as a technician or preferably an engineer

• You have experience in vehicle construction/machine engineering with a focus on hydraulics/electronics
• You have an interest in legislation and regulations
• You are proficient in German and English, both spoken and written; any additional language is an advantage
• Your team, communication, and organisational skills distinguish you
• You are a reliable and independent personality with a structured and goal-oriented working style
