The Regional HR Business Partner – Europe is a strategic and operational HR leadership role responsible for supporting business leaders and employees across 15 European countries, 250 employees and 45 people managers. This position manages the full HR lifecycle, ensures alignment with global and regional HR strategies, and leads the Regional HR Services team to deliver consistent, compliant, and efficient HR operations. The role also drives key initiatives in talent development, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, organizational efficiency, and wellbeing.
Your responsibilities:

- Act as a strategic advisor to regional leadership on organizational development, workforce planning, and change management.
- Translate global HR strategies into actionable regional initiatives tailored to local business needs.
- Lead and develop the Regional HR Services team to ensure high-quality, compliant, and employee-focused service delivery.
- Oversee HR operations including payroll coordination, HR data management, reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support managers in leadership, feedback, development planning, and succession management.
- Oversee career development initiatives for the regional talent pool, including monitoring development plans and coordinating follow-up actions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and employee representatives and organizations across countries.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, data protection regulations, and internal policies.
- Represent HR in internal Townhalls and audits (e.g., internal, ISO, customer audits).
- Collaborate with the global HR team to support and implement global and regional HR campaigns.
- Provide monthly updates and strategic HR insights to key stakeholders.
- Lead regional HR projects aligned with global priorities, including:
- Diversity & Inclusion: Develop and implement action plans to enhance diversity and inclusion.
- Employee Engagement: Analyze survey and focus group feedback; propose and implement action plans.
- Organizational Efficiency: Partner with HR Shared Services and HR Rewards to improve HR processes and organizational effectiveness.
- Wellbeing: Advise local Wellbeing Committees and ensure alignment with global and local wellbeing programs.
- Maintain and update the HR action plan as defined in the regional or plant-level strategic roadmap and monitor implementation progress.
- Ensure all HR communications, documentation, policies, presentations, and meetings in Switzerland are conducted in both German and English. This includes preparing dual-language materials and facilitating understanding across language groups.
Your qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g., Personalfachfrau/-mann with federal diploma).
- Minimum of 5 years of operational HR experience, including experience in a regional or international context.
- Strong knowledge of labor law in Switzerland
- In-depth understanding of HR principles, practices, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in HR systems (Workday, SAP).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in German and in English (B2 level or higher)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- Additional languages (preferably French, Slovak or Spanish).
- Experience in international mobility.
- Familiarity with compensation & benefits and social security systems across different countries.
- Experience in managing apprentices or early-career programs.
