Welcome to the Social Network District Horgen (SNH) association. We provide social services for adults in difficult life situations. Due to retirement, we are looking for an experienced professional guardian, also motivated returnees are welcome.What awaits you with us
As a professional guardian, you will manage guardianships for adults in difficult life situations. You advise, accompany and represent these adults and provide them with personal and financial assistance. Every day is different: you work very independently, organise your time freely and achieve a lot of meaningful work in a lively environment. You mainly work from your office but regularly leave it for external assignments. You will be administratively supported in your work and are part of a 20-member team consisting of eight professional guardians and seven caseworkers. You care for and represent clients in personal, legal and financial matters. You work closely with the child and adult protection authority and implement adult protection measures according to the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB). The related accountability reports, statements and applications are also independently prepared by you.You bring with you
- Completed degree in social work (FH) or comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in statutory social work desirable
- Knowledge of social insurance law advantageous
- Enjoy working with people in difficult and complex life situations
- A resilient and team-oriented personality with assertiveness
- Driving licence category B desirable
