The Kantonsschule Wiedikon is a high school with various gymnasial profiles as well as a specialized middle school. It is a larger school with around 1200 students and 200 teachers. For the 2024/25 school year, Kantonsschule Wiedikon has expanded its offerings to the Hohlstrasse location near Hardbrücke station.

Your tasks
- Prevention, early detection, and intervention in challenges faced by young people and the establishment of corresponding preventive and participatory structures.
- Solution-oriented individual counseling of students as well as counseling of the school and family system,
- Supporting all parties involved in finding optimal solutions and triage to external counseling centers,
- Advising teachers on group dynamic interventions for prevention, support, and systemic interventions in crises and conflicts within the class group,
- Participation in the development of our school culture and school community,
- Coaching and support of students with compensatory measures within the framework of self-organization.

Your profile
You are a committed personality with professional experience in school social work or youth counseling. With your solution-oriented systemic approach, you mediate well between different concerns.
You work independently, structured, and reflectively and look forward to shaping the new support offer at Kantonsschule Wiedikon together with the existing team. Knowledge in concept and project work is an advantage for this.

Your communication skills, teamwork, and resilience are an advantage both in dealing with various stakeholders and in managing crises.
The formal requirements are a bachelor's degree in social work, combined with further training in school social work (CAS) or a comparable field (CAS).

The tasks are varied and characterized by contact with different stakeholders. For professional exchange, you are integrated into a regional team, and cantonal meetings promote knowledge transfer among professionals. During the semesters, you work 80-100% and enjoy 12 weeks of school holidays as compensation.
