About the position
As a Process Engineer, you will be at the heart of the site’s strategic projects. You will contribute to optimising production units, improving safety and implementing high-value investment projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence industrial performance, tackle complex technical challenges and collaborate with multidisciplinary experts in a demanding and innovative industrial environment.
Tasks and responsibilities
Conduct feasibility studies for process improvement projects aimed at enhancing performance, safety, reliability of installations and product quality.
Develop Design Bases (BoD) and define innovative technical solutions for investment projects and plant modifications.
Provide expertise in process and safety throughout the project lifecycle, from study to commissioning.
Develop and improve standards, methods and engineering tools related to process studies and change management.
Collaborate with operational teams and external partners to design and implement high-value solutions.
Participate in process risk analyses (HAZOP, HAZID, What-If, PSSR) and contribute to the continuous improvement of process safety.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (HES/EPF) or equivalent in chemical or process engineering.
Knowledge of refining processes, process safety and control systems.
Familiarity with process simulation tools such as Pro II, HYSYS, Petro-SIM or equivalents.
3 years of professional experience in refining, chemistry or petrochemicals is an asset.
Good command of spoken and written French and English; German is an advantage.
