The Integration Competence Area advises and supports organizations and individuals as well as administrative departments in Baden and the region on integration issues. Intern Integration 80% for 6 months starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement
Main tasks
- Information and counseling of migrants within the framework of low-threshold short counseling as well as triage to further specialized and counseling centers
- Design of meeting points and everyday relevant educational offers for migrants
- Support of volunteer groups in the field of integration, participation in promoting volunteer engagement
- Participation in events such as the Week Against Racism, Refugee Day, etc.
- Participation in accompanying sociocultural processes and projects in the community to promote coexistence
- Networking with persons/organizations active in integration promotion
- General administrative tasks
Requirements
- Guaranteed study place at a university of applied sciences (FH) for social work
- Experience and ability to make low-threshold contact with adults, e.g., through voluntary work in the migration area or other social fields
- Enjoy supporting people and organizations in implementing their ideas for good coexistence
- Appreciative interaction with different stakeholders
- High interest in social issues in the migration area
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Organizational and administrative skills
- Willingness for occasional flexible work assignments, including evenings or weekends
- Own migration experiences are an advantage
