This is exactly where we work at AFC.

We accompany some of the most demanding construction projects in Switzerland and develop fire protection solutions for new buildings, conversions and complex existing buildings. In doing so, we combine classic fire protection planning with engineering verifications, simulations, quality assurance and integral tests.

For our fire protection team, we are looking for individuals who take responsibility and want to develop professionally.

Whether you are already a fire protection expert or specialist, or want to enter fire protection as an architect or engineer: what matters to us is your technical understanding, your motivation and your willingness to develop good solutions.

This is what you can achieve with us

• You work on demanding fire protection projects from the initial idea to commissioning.
• Depending on your experience and level of training, you gradually take on more responsibility:
• You develop fire protection concepts for new builds and conversions and seek practical and economical solutions together with clients, architects and specialist planners.
• You advise our clients and represent projects to authorities and other project participants.
• You handle issues of structural, technical and organisational fire protection.
• You accompany projects through planning and realisation, carry out quality controls on construction sites and support acceptance and commissioning.

With growing experience, you independently manage your projects and are responsible for quality, deadlines and costs. If you are interested in engineering fire protection, you can also specialise at AFC in performance- and risk-based verifications, smoke extraction, evacuation, simulations, fire event controls or integral tests.

You are a VKF Fire Protection Expert

You already have extensive experience and want to independently lead demanding projects. At AFC, you will have the space to take on complex tasks, advise customers and contribute and further develop your professional experience in a strong fire protection team.

You are a VKF Fire Protection Specialist

You want to take the next step and increasingly take responsibility for larger and more complex projects. We support you professionally and organisationally on your further path – if desired, up to qualification as a fire protection expert.

You come from architecture or engineering

You have a completed degree in architecture, civil engineering, timber construction, HVAC, building technology or a comparable technical field and want to reorient your career?

Then you are explicitly welcome.

You do not have to be a fire protection professional yet. What we expect is a solid understanding of buildings and technology, analytical thinking and a high motivation to intensively familiarise yourself with fire protection.
