Company Description
The Public Institutions for Integration (EPI) have the mission to contribute to the well-being and social and/or professional integration of people with disabilities or facing difficulties in professional and/or social integration. More than 900 people are supported in very varied contexts.
A targeted, demanding and innovative project
As part of its development, the institution is creating a new 2-place microstructure intended for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual developmental disorder (IDD), in complex situations.
This system is based on highly individualised, intensive and structured support, embedded in a specialised socio-educational approach.
Designed as a containing, stable and adjusted environment, this microstructure aims to:
- meet needs that traditional systems find difficult to cover
- ensure a high and consistent quality of support
- implement recognised, updated and evaluated practices
Our ambition is clear:
- Offer tailor-made support, respectful of the pace, needs and abilities of each beneficiary
- Promote skills development, behaviour regulation and daily autonomy
- Provide professionals with a structured and supportive working framework
- Develop an exemplary system based on observation, analysis and continuous improvement of practices
Job Description
- Support two beneficiaries with ASD and challenging behaviours daily, in an intensive and individualised setting
- Co-construct, implement and adjust individualised support plans
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team
- Actively participate in the evaluation and evolution of practices
- Encourage adapted activities, socialisation and openness to the outside, taking into account each person’s abilities
Qualifications
- Socio-educator profile: Swiss diploma in social work (HES) or equivalent; if foreign diploma, SEFRI recognition mandatory
- Socio-educational assistant profile: CFC diploma as socio-educational assistant or equivalent; if foreign diploma, SEFRI recognition mandatory
- Knowledge of ASD and/or strong willingness to train extensively
- Experience in supporting or caring for people with challenging behaviours and complex situations: a significant asset
- Strong interest in innovative approaches, research and application of internationally recognised best practices
- Strong interest and/or experience in interdisciplinary work
- Flexibility, great adaptability, team spirit and motivation to contribute to a major project
- Fluency in French and proficiency with common office software
- Mastery of the French language

Practical Information
