The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care center each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees offer elderly people a regionally unique comprehensive care from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. In addition to the inpatient services for acute geriatrics and rehabilitation, we run a mobile nursing home doctor practice caring for nursing home residents in currently thirteen external Basel nursing homes, which is continuously being expanded. Qualified specialists from the Adullam hospitals conduct regular structured consultations and rounds in the respective elderly and care centers.

The team of the mobile nursing home doctor practice in Basel is looking for a committed colleague to start immediately or by arrangement, who is mobile to care for our elderly patients at home or in the nursing home.

Your Tasks

You are responsible for the outpatient medical care of a fixed patient base in the Adullam care centers in Basel and Riehen as well as in external elderly and nursing homes in the Basel area

You work independently from Monday to Friday (without emergency services, weekend or night shifts) and autonomously and maintain communication with the medical management of our mobile nursing home doctor practice. The working days can be arranged flexibly

You actively contribute to the expansion of the successful mobile nursing home doctor practice of Adullam

Collegial exchange with colleagues from the Adullam hospital is valued and maintained

Maintenance of interdisciplinary collaboration with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, nursing and activation staff as well as with the social service

Your Profile

You hold the specialist title in General Internal Medicine (FMH) and are interested in specializing in geriatrics

You ideally have initial experience in outpatient medicine

You are a responsible and committed personality who enjoys working with elderly people
