About us

The Billard Center Bern is a centrally located meeting point for billiards, snooker and darts enthusiasts in the city of Bern. In a relaxed atmosphere, we combine sport, sociability and bar service – straightforward, friendly and professional.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for one or two motivated individuals as bar staff with a workload of 40–80% starting 1 December 2026 or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Looking after our guests in the bar and gaming area
• Serving drinks and simple preparation
• Operating the cash register system, settling billiard table accounts
• Distributing playing materials (billiard balls) to guests
• Independent shift management including cash closing and closing the premises
• Supporting general operational processes
• Refilling sold bottles, snacks etc. (daily in the morning shift), assisting with goods receipt and inventory
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the guest area
• Co-responsibility for smooth day and evening operations

Working hours

• Shifts from Monday to Sunday
• Flexible scheduling by arrangement
• Evening and weekend shifts included
• Working hours divided into shifts: 10:30 – 17:30 and 17:30 – 00:30, Friday and Saturday evening shift one hour longer
• Shift schedule provided in advance

Your profile

• Team player, reliable and resilient
• Flexible availability (also evenings and weekends)
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance
• Independent working style and sense of responsibility
• Good German skills (additional languages an advantage)
• Confident handling of cash register and cash
• Minimum age 18 years and valid work permit for Switzerland
• Experience in gastronomy, bar or sales an advantage
• No completed gastronomy training required
