To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Teacher for the Subjects Mathematics and Physics

Workload: 70% with the option to increase to 100% at the start of the 2027/28 school year

Workplace: City of St.Gallen

What to expect

• You will teach the subjects Mathematics and Physics.
• You will contribute your ideas to the further development of the school and the subject group.
• You will take on additional tasks in the area of professional duties, e.g. project work and learning coaching.
• You will participate in special weeks and school events.

What distinguishes you

• You are a competent, committed and team-oriented teacher.
• You already have teaching experience at secondary level II.
• You hold a university master’s degree in the subject area.
• You have a teaching diploma for grammar schools as well as an additional professional pedagogical qualification, or are willing to acquire one.

What we offer

The Kantonsschule am Brühl St.Gallen, with its approximately 600 pupils and 70 teachers, offers practice-oriented courses in five vocational fields (FMS), the Computer Science Middle School (IMS) and the Business Middle School (WMS). It works closely with the professional world and universities of applied sciences and is therefore characterised by a dynamic and digital environment. The team is distinguished by a strong identification with the school and the courses as well as an open and collegial communication culture. The contemporary further development of the courses as well as the pedagogical and didactic concepts are further important features of our school.
