Test Engineer - Function Validation (m/f/d)

About the job

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the development, improvement and validation of the performance of axial piston machines
• You are responsible for the introduction and further development of standardised and automated test procedures to ensure reliable results and high quality
• You analyse measurement results and propose optimisation measures to improve products and reduce costs
• You use simulation tools to facilitate the interpretation and understanding of test results
• You identify the causes of technical problems and independently develop innovative solutions
• You manage the execution and evaluation of functional tests
• You contribute your technical expertise to support assembly personnel and test bench operators and ensure smooth operation of activities
• You collaborate with various departments and internal customers to ensure efficient coordination and smooth running of tests

Your Qualifications

• You have a higher education in microtechnology, mechatronics, systems engineering or a comparable field
• You have several years of professional experience in hydraulic development
• You are fluent in French and German and have good English skills
• You possess excellent knowledge of MS Office, Python, MATLAB, HBM Catman and NI DIAdem
• You are characterised by strong analytical skills as well as commitment, flexibility and independence. In addition, you have excellent communication skills in a professional environment
