The Department of Education, Culture and Environmental Protection comprises five services with a wide range of activities. The scholarship service is part of the finance & controlling section of the Department's secretariat. The Department's secretariat is the staff unit of the Department. It supports the State Councillor in managing the Department as well as in matters relating to management, communication and public relations. The offices are centrally located in Chur. We offer an open, modern and digital working environment.
In the canton of Graubünden, the scholarship service is responsible for examining applications for scholarships and study loans. This internship period allows you to gain an insight into the activities of the scholarship service.
For 1st September 2026, we are looking for an intern for the scholarship service.
- Independent registration and processing of incoming mail related to scholarship applications received daily
- Preparation of applications for processing
- Preparation of incomplete applications for return to sender for completion and related dispatch
- Collaboration in the final check of scholarship decisions and payments of granted scholarships
- General secretarial duties
- Basic commercial training or equivalent, or completed or near completion of secondary school diploma
- Insight, ability to cope with stressful situations, ability to work in a team
- Good IT skills
- Autonomy, flexibility and discretion
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
