To strengthen our team in Zurich, we are looking for a technically skilled, independent and customer-oriented individual with electrical training.

As a Swiss specialist retailer for ceramic supplies, we offer an exceptionally versatile technical environment. From electric kilns and controls to potter's wheels and other machines – no two working days are the same with us. Therefore, we are looking for someone who not only enjoys practical work but also takes pleasure in troubleshooting, new technical challenges and independent problem-solving.

Your tasks

You will work both in our workshop in Zurich and in the field with our customers throughout Switzerland.

• Commissioning, conversion, maintenance and repair of electric kilns, especially high-voltage systems
• Electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and rectification of faults
• Inspection, repair and replacement of control units and electrical components
• Delivery, installation and commissioning of new equipment at the customer’s site
• Instruction and technical advice to our customers on site
• Delivery of machines, equipment and other goods
• Warehouse management and dispatch of customer packages
• With increasing experience, independent technical advice by phone and on site
• Support with customer service in our specialist shop if required

Your profile

• Completed training in the electrical or electrotechnical field, e.g. as an electrical installer, electrician, automation technician, electromechanic or comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of electrical engineering and confident handling of electrical systems
• Enjoyment of troubleshooting and independently solving technical problems
• Good comprehension and willingness to continuously familiarise yourself with new devices and technical topics
• Independent, reliable and careful working style
• Enjoyment of customer contact and friendly, communicative manner
• Physically fit – deliveries and installations sometimes involve carrying heavier equipment and materials
• Driving licence category B
• Very good German skills (spoken and written)
• Additional languages are an advantage

What is important to us: You do not have to be a ceramic expert yet. You will get to know our range and the technical applications with us. What matters to us is your basic electrical training, technical understanding and the ability to think through different problems and find solutions independently.
