The Electronics and Control Systems Department develops and implements electronic subsystems for the operation of PSI's accelerator facilities. To complement our electronics development team with a focus on electronic measurement systems for large research facilities, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Development of fast mixed-signal (analog/digital) electronics for measurement and control systems
- Creation of schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation of the developed systems
- Development of mechanical enclosures for electronic assemblies
- Testing, characterization, and commissioning of the developed systems in the laboratory and in collaboration with project teams and customers
- Participation in the creation of concepts
- Supervision, monitoring, and handling of procurement and production of electronics
Your profile
- Completed university degree (ETH/FH) in electrical engineering and many years of experience as a development engineer
- Experience in the development of electronics for control and measurement systems as well as analog and mixed-signal hardware
- Knowledge in PCB development and mechanical enclosure design
- Advantageous: knowledge in high-frequency technology, Altium Designer, and Inventor
- Independent, structured working style and initiative
- Team player and open personality
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
