As Head of Finance, Reporting & Accounting Switzerland, you lead a team of highly qualified finance experts and are responsible for finance reporting & accounting in our two Swiss companies 4B and EgoKiefer. As important companies within the DOVISTA Group, 4B and EgoKiefer hold a significant position in the Swiss market. This role therefore plays a central part within our finance organisation.
You ensure high-quality and reliable financial data for group reporting, compliance with high standards, as well as sound decision-making bases for corporate management and performance management. At the same time, you actively shape the future of the Swiss finance organisation by driving the harmonisation and automation of processes, systems and ways of working.
A key focus is on strengthening cross-functional collaboration between 4B and EgoKiefer as well as with Business Finance, local management and the entire DOVISTA organisation. You challenge existing working methods, identify improvement potentials and use digital solutions to continuously increase efficiency, quality and transparency.
As a leader in the finance area, you develop both the organisation and your employees further, strengthen professional expertise and promote future leadership skills as well as a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You combine strong financial governance with a pragmatic and business-oriented mindset and act as a trusted sparring partner and effective gatekeeper to create sustainable added value for the company.
- Definition of the strategy for your area of responsibility in line with the overarching finance strategy as well as active design and implementation of the transformation – including systems, processes and development towards a future-proof finance setup
- Alignment of your area’s goals with the corporate strategy
- Further development of leadership skills and professional expertise within the organisation
- Breaking down silos, targeted resource allocation and promotion of a corporate culture in line with the DOVISTA MODEL
- Identification and active involvement of relevant stakeholders from the business
- Further development of the organisational structure of the function, including development of future leaders, clear career paths and sustainable succession planning
- Local responsibility for actual figures and ensuring a reliable and meaningful financial view of the business as a basis for sound decisions
- Ensuring high-quality and timely group reporting in accordance with applicable guidelines and requirements – with high transparency and without unexpected deviations
- Responsibility for the budget and financial control of your own area
- Completed master’s degree in finance or a comparable qualification as well as solid experience in managing accounting processes
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role in finance
- Experience with technically demanding accounting issues as well as compliance requirements
- Strong business understanding, including the entire value chain and the operational business model of a manufacturing company
- Strong digital competence in the finance and business environment
- Solid project management skills
- Very good English skills
