About the job
The Ärztekasse Cooperative is one of the leading companies in practice administration. It supports doctors, attending physicians, group practices, as well as healthcare providers (physiotherapy, osteopathy, psychology, etc.) with IT industry solutions and comprehensive service packages. The Ärztekasse Cooperative issues over 10 million invoices per year on behalf of its customers.
The back office handles all enquiries from customers, health insurers, patients, authorities, and other parties that arrive after invoicing.
To support our back office team in Bern, we are looking for you as
Back Office Employee (m/f)
Workload: 80 – 100 %
Start: immediately or by arrangement
Duration: fixed-term until 31.12.2026
Workplace: Gümligen (BE)
Main tasks
- Processing verbal and written customer concerns regarding accounts receivable management
- Assisting and advising customers on questions related to the invoicing process
- Processing electronic invoice rejections from insurers and their follow-up
- Manual payment postings as well as handling incorrect payments and refunds
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a commercial field or as a medical practice assistant
- IT-savvy personality with good MS Office skills
- TARDOC knowledge and experience in the administration of medical practices or in health insurance are advantageous
- Friendly and customer-oriented manner
- Team player, resilient and flexible
- Very good German skills and good French skills are an advantage
