About the job

We are a popular congress and event venue in the Bernese Oberland. Events for up to 1500 people take place in the historic as well as modern premises and are catered with delicacies from our own kitchen.

Our gastronomy team includes the departments of kitchen, service, cleaning and setup. We work hand in hand and support each other. For the 2026 season, we are looking for motivated hourly-paid staff to support our department teams at various events and who are willing to assist in other departments.

Your tasks in the kitchen

• Supporting the kitchen team in preparation, such as cutting vegetables and garnishes, plating dishes, assisting with cooking and attending the buffet in front of guests

Your tasks in service

• Supporting events, including preparation and setting tables, arranging the event area, tidying up and comprehensive guest service during banquets

Your tasks in cleaning

• Assisting with cleaning and maintenance of all halls and sanitary facilities before, during and after an event

Your tasks in setup

• Helping with the assembly and disassembly of events (stages, tables, chairs etc.) indoors in our halls or outdoors in the Kursaal garden
• Site management and maintenance

Your profile for all departments

• Completed training in gastronomy / hospitality or professional experience in a similar field is an advantage, but career changers are also warmly welcome.
• Good spoken German skills
• Friendly manner with guests and enjoyment in guest contact
• Open to tasks outside your area
