About the job
Welcome to Schlieren
Our 6 school buildings are spread across the lively and diverse city of Schlieren. Cultural diversity is a lived reality with us, and we place great value on an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all learners can thrive. Our school is looking for inspiring teachers who enrich lessons with passion, creativity, and a touch of humour.
The Hofacker school particularly scores with the convincingly lived school model "Focus on strong learning relationships (FSL)", a larger number of team teaching lessons (class teachers in tandem), and a great, very helpful team. Music and theatre are an essential part of our school day. The Hofacker team consists of around 40 motivated staff members and approximately 260 pupils. We also run a school island and a small middle school class for additional support.
We are looking for, starting 4 January 2027

- Create and strengthen strong learning relationships
- Prepare and work closely in team teaching with your job-sharing partners
- Use team teaching lessons purposefully for integrative support in the area of special education

Your profile
- A motivated person with a teaching diploma for primary school level (EDK recognition) or in training
- Extremely relationship-oriented, appreciative, and understanding, as well as experienced in dealing with sometimes challenging pupil behaviours
- Clear and consistent leadership with a focus on academic and personal learning
Our offer
- A committed team that works together reliably and supports each other
- Close collaboration with your tandem partner as inspiration, relief, and success factor at the same time
- A well-established, positive, and humourful team culture
- Enthusiastic pupils and grateful parents
- Many cross-class rituals and joint activities
- A benevolent and pragmatic school management
