International Scientific Cooperation Unit

Your tasks

Within the Unit, you support the manager in the administration of international scientific cooperation programmes, notably the Leading House for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the transdisciplinary programme on appropriate technologies for global sustainable development.

As part of this internship, you create content for internal and external channels (website, social media, newsletters) to promote the Unit’s activities and supported projects. You ensure the updating of databases (partners, projects, contacts) and manage mailboxes. You actively participate in the preparation and follow-up of calls for projects while contributing to the improvement of tools and processes. Furthermore, you conduct strategic monitoring by collecting and synthesising information on the current affairs of partner regions. Finally, you provide logistical and administrative support to the Unit during event organisation.

Your profile

• You have a higher education background, such as a university of applied sciences/university degree or equivalent training (minimum Bachelor level);
• You have a strong interest in international relations, research and innovation, as well as cooperation and sustainability topics;
• You demonstrate rigour, initiative and a good team spirit.
  

Your skills

• You have excellent writing and communication skills in French and English (C1 level);
• You are comfortable with digital communication tools (e.g. website, social media) and data management (e.g. spreadsheets, contact databases, forms);
• Organised and methodical, you know how to plan your activities and manage priorities
  

Work rate: 60-80%

Contract duration: Fixed-term contract until 31.12.2027 - Paid internship

Start date: From 11.01.2027 or to be agreed

Workplace: Lausanne with possible travel in French-speaking Switzerland
