The Restaurant Eggli Appenzell is looking to strengthen its kitchen team with a dedicated Sous Chef, Cook, or Junior Cook.

Start date: From autumn 2026 or by arrangement.

As we are preparing for an exciting future, we would like to fill the position already in autumn to ensure thorough and comprehensive training.

Your tasks 

• Preparing the daily mise en place and offer preparation
• Creative contribution to the menu
• Professional preparation of dishes
• Coordination and smooth collaboration within the kitchen team
• Compliance with hygiene regulations and ongoing quality control of the offered products

Your profile

• Completed training as a Cook with a Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ) or equivalent experience
• Passion for fresh, regional, and high-quality cuisine
• Team spirit, reliability, and enthusiasm for the profession
• Independent and clean working style
• For the position of Sous Chef, additional leadership skills and organisational talent
• Vehicle for commuting
