From the autumn semester 2027 or by arrangement, an
Artistic Professorship for Principal Oboe (30–55%)
in the degree programmes Interpretation & Performance as well as Music Education is to be newly filled.
We are looking for a personality with international concert activity and extensive experience in contemporary music, both as a soloist and in chamber music. Stylistic versatility and an interest in performance practice issues come naturally to you. You are also well connected in the Swiss and neighbouring music scenes.
We expect excellent pedagogical skills as well as teaching experience at university level or the willingness to further develop your university didactic skills. Thanks to your regular presence in Zurich, you will actively shape the development of a class as well as interdisciplinary cooperation at the university.

The presentation with a short recital, teaching lessons and a specialist discussion will take place on 24 August 2026 in Zurich. The short recital and teaching lessons will be open to the university public.
