Senior Project Manager Road Construction in the Leadership Team

In this role, you are the driving force in your division from the idea through the tender preparation to execution across all project phases. As a member of the leadership team, you delegate tasks to the engineers in your team, orchestrate the supporting services from the project office and set positive examples through the way you manage your projects. Together with your superior, you help to further develop the Road Construction Business Unit in the relevant market and strengthen customer relationships in your region. You appreciate the short communication paths within the organisation as well as the active and respectful exchange across all hierarchical levels.

Your Responsibilities

• Overall project management from A to Z in road construction for the public sector in the canton of Bern
• Leadership, promotion and further development of engineers and specialists in your team
• Planning and organisation of resources within the road construction department in collaboration with the head of the business unit
• Support of strategically important major customers in your region
• Co-design and influence on internal business processes and workflows

Your Profile

• Higher education in civil engineering at a university of applied sciences or ETH
• Several years of relevant professional experience in road construction
• Passionate project manager with the flair to further develop colleagues as a coach
• Communicative personality with a winning manner both externally and internally
