Profile
The Nursing Service of the Regional Hospital of Lugano employs approximately 800 collaborators, distributed across the various wards/services located at the 2 sites (Civico and Italiano).
The people we are looking for will have the opportunity to carry out their work activity in two multidisciplinary operating blocks:
- Civico Hospital site (6 rooms): neurosurgery, neuro-orthopaedics, orthopaedics and traumatology, surgery: general - hepatobiliary - vascular – laparoscopic and reconstructive plastic, urology, otorhinolaryngology and gynaecology
- Italiano Hospital site (4 rooms): general surgery - vascular - hand surgery - laparoscopic and reconstructive plastic, orthopaedics and traumatology, gynaecology, senology, ophthalmology and outpatient interventions.
Necessary requirements
- Swiss diploma as operating room technician (ORT) or
- Swiss diploma as nurse with Swiss specialisation as instrument nurse or
- degree in nursing (Italy or other European countries) recognised by the Swiss Red Cross (or equivalent recognised qualifications) with proven experience (at least 3 years) in operating room instrumentation
