Industrial Mechanic

About the job

Your tasks:

• Organising and carrying out maintenance and repairs on machines, systems and equipment (locations in Zurich and St. Gallen)
• Independently performing unplanned repairs in production operations
• Assisting with machine overhauls at foreign subsidiaries in Austria and Hungary (approx. 3 times a year)
• Turning, milling, drilling, grinding, manual work and welding
• Planning, preparing and performing preventive maintenance
• Procurement, manufacturing and inventory management of spare parts
• Technical support and participation in projects

Our requirements:

• Apprenticeship as a machine or polymechanic
• Solid knowledge in assembly technology, pneumatics and conventional manufacturing
• At least 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment
• Fluent German skills (spoken & written)
• Independent, resilient and flexible
