Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Heating / Cooling for the independent planning, organisation and realisation of demanding building technology projects in the Bern area. You will take on the technical, organisational and economic responsibility for heating and cooling systems and accompany construction projects from planning through execution to commissioning and handover. In doing so, you coordinate internal project teams, specialist planners, suppliers and executing companies and ensure professional implementation while adhering to quality, cost and deadline requirements. The position combines heating planning, cooling technology, project management and operational implementation support with diverse development opportunities, at least five weeks of holiday and attractive further training opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Project management heating and cooling: Independent leadership and realisation of heating and cooling projects in residential, commercial and general building construction
Technical project responsibility: Planning, organisation and control of technical and organisational project processes from project takeover to system handover
Heating systems and heat generation: Planning and implementation of heat generation, heat distribution and heating systems, including energy-efficient system solutions
Cooling systems and refrigeration technology: Planning and realisation of cooling generation, cooling distribution and building cooling systems
Planning and execution planning: Participation in the creation and review of system concepts, technical calculations, installation plans and execution documents
Project team coordination: Professional organisation and coordination of building technology planners, installation teams and other internal project participants
Specialist planner and contractor coordination: Coordination with architects, HVAC specialist planners, electrical planners, suppliers and executing companies
Cost and budget management: Preparation and monitoring of project calculations, cost forecasts, change orders and billing documents
Schedule and resource planning: Coordination of project deadlines, material deliveries, installation processes and personnel resources
Quality assurance and standards control: Monitoring compliance with SIA standards, technical guidelines, execution standards and project-specific quality requirements
Construction site and installation supervision: Control of installation and assembly work, clarification of technical execution questions and monitoring of construction progress
Commissioning and project completion: Organisation and coordination of functional tests, commissioning, technical acceptance and system documentation
Qualifications:
Education: Completed vocational training as a building technology planner heating EFZ or comparable training in heating and building technology
Further education: Advanced technical training as a certified technician HF building technology, building technology engineer FH or comparable technical further education advantageous
Professional experience: Several years of experience in heating planning, project execution and project management of building technology systems
Heating and cooling technology: Sound knowledge in heat generation, heat distribution, hydraulic systems and building technology cooling systems
Project management: Practical experience in project organisation, cost control, scheduling, specialist coordination and implementation support
Standards and specialist software: Knowledge of relevant SIA standards, Swiss energy and building technology regulations as well as common CAD, calculation and project administration software
Languages: Very good German skills in spoken and written form for technical project processing and coordination with clients, specialist planners and executing companies
