About the job
The St.Gallen municipal utilities are the reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly the region in the supply of energy, water and fibre optics. For the Electricity and Telecom Network department, Plant Construction division, we are looking for a
Electrical Systems Assembly Technician (m/f/d) 80 - 100%
This is what you will do
- Create and carry out assembly, installation and maintenance work on electrical systems and properties in the medium and low voltage range
- Responsibility for occupational safety at the assigned workplaces as well as determination and monitoring of the necessary safety measures
- Coordination of necessary switching operations with the network operation
- Participation in new construction, conversion and renewal work as well as other varied tasks in plant construction
- Provision of on-call duty as required
This is what you bring
- Completed basic electrical training (EFZ), for example as a network electrician, electrical installer or electromechanic, or an equivalent qualification
- Practical experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Good user knowledge of common MS Office programmes
- Independent, reliable and team-oriented working style
- Driving licence category B and residence in St.Gallen or surrounding area
