As a Health Specialist, you care for and support our patients and residents. You perform tasks in the areas of nursing, ward household, and administration, and assist sick, impaired, and elderly people according to their needs and situation. For example, you help with daily personal hygiene, getting up, dressing and undressing. You serve food and drinks and carry out medical-technical tasks such as measuring blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, performing dressing changes and blood draws, administering injections and medications. Your duties also include maintaining order in the ward area and cleaning used materials.
Health specialists also perform administrative and organizational tasks, manage supplies, and take care of sufficient nursing and office materials. They ensure that instruments and devices function properly, maintain patient or resident files, and handle mail and telephone services.
Apprenticeship starts on August 1, 2026. Dual training at Zweisimmen Hospital and Bergsonne Elderly Care
