Job Description
Within our Customer Service Workshop and under the responsibility of the Team Leader, you will join a division dedicated to Heritage pieces, with a particular focus on vintage timepieces, while also handling more contemporary pieces and new releases.
You will join a passionate team driven by the pursuit of excellence and attention to detail. Your role is to bring our timepieces back to life, whether contemporary or steeped in history, while contributing to providing an exceptional experience for our clients.
In this context, you will be expected to:
- Carry out complete repairs of recent and vintage watches, working on vintage manual movements, ultra-thin, perpetual calendar, equation of time and rattrapante chronograph.
- Diagnose the general condition of watches and analyse their external components to provide precise and relevant information to our clients.
- Ensure the proper functioning, maintenance and reliability of your work tools to guarantee an impeccable level of quality.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop by sharing your ideas and expertise.
- Continuously develop your skills through regular training and knowledge exchange within the team.
Qualifications
- Holder of a watchmaker’s Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) or equivalent training, you have solid experience of at least 5 to 10 years within a watchmaker Customer Service department.
- Passionate about vintage watches, you have a genuine interest in the vintage world and wish to build your professional path around this universe. Ideally, you have concrete experience in the repair or restoration of vintage pieces.
- You are particularly motivated by the technical challenge specific to vintage: understanding a piece and its particularities, seeking adapted solutions and managing to restore it despite the limited or even non-existent availability of certain components.
- You have excellent mastery of the maintenance and repair of complex movements, including vintage manual, ultra-thin, perpetual calendar, equation of time and rattrapante chronograph, as well as adjustment, finishing and starting operations.
- You possess excellent skills in dial fitting, hand setting and casing, paying particular attention to the precision of each intervention.
- Curious and motivated by continuous learning, you enjoy developing your skills and deepening your expertise in vintage pieces and taking on new technical challenges.
- Recognised for your rigour, sense of quality and analytical mind, you know how to effectively identify issues and provide sustainable solutions.
- Team spirit, service orientation and passion for the craft complete your profile.
