The St.Gallen municipal utilities are a reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly for the region in the supply of energy, water, and fiber optics. For our Digitalization and IT department, we are looking for a
ICT Security Specialist (m/f/d) 70 - 100%
The energy supply is in an exciting phase of change. This also brings significant changes for the IT/OT of an energy supplier. Cybersecurity plays an important role in this.
This is what you will do:
- You develop the concepts and capabilities of digital security in IT and OT further
- You drive the expansion of the Security Architecture and accompany projects from procurement to successful integration
- You operate the security systems in close cooperation with the OT colleagues
- You monitor the threat situation and support the specialist departments in all operational matters related to digital security
- You conduct audits on ICT minimum standards (NIST 2.0 Framework), accompany PEN tests for our applications, and ensure the implementation of defined measures
- You identify, analyze, and accompany occurring security incidents in close cooperation with the security specialists and the affected departments
This is what you bring with you:
- Professional training in the field of computer science (university, university of applied sciences, college of higher education, or professional experience)
- Solid conceptual and operational experience in cybersecurity
- Experience in the field of critical infrastructures is an advantage
- Great interest in the further development of digital security in an increasingly decentralized energy supply system
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty
- Very independent, communicative, and empathetic personality who likes to take responsibility, works in a team, is passionate about their topics, and inspires others
