As an Automation Technician / Electrical Technician, you will carry out the electrotechnical maintenance and servicing of the operational facilities and infrastructure at the Vals site within the defined guidelines.
YOUR NEW TASKS:
- Performing all electrotechnical maintenance and servicing tasks
- Resolving malfunctions in facilities and infrastructure, sometimes also on weekends
- Repairing and dismantling operational facilities and infrastructure
- Setting up, calibrating, and testing new operational facilities in close collaboration with the production team
- Reporting on the completed work and ensuring efficient collaboration and communication, especially within production
- Implementing improvement measures (process flows, automation, etc.)
- Instructing production staff on simple troubleshooting and maintenance tasks on the facilities
- Creating and maintaining cross-departmental contacts with production staff, suppliers, and external fitters
- Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
- Completed vocational training as an electrician, automation technician, or a similar qualification
- Expertise in the areas of signal, control, and regulation technology
- Experience with PLC STEP7/TIA is an advantage
- Reliable, independent, and precise working style combined with
- Flexibility and resilience
- Quick comprehension, organizational flair, and pronounced service and team thinking
- Willingness to work shifts and on-call duty
- Residence: Reachability of production within 30-45 minutes
- Experience with SAP and MS Office
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
